Ever since 1892 when Jack Daniel himself assembled his famous Silver Cornet Band in Lynchburg Tennessee, America’s premiere whiskey has had been the drink of choice wherever great music is being played and enjoyed. 119 years later Jack is still rubbing shoulders with musicians, only now the party is happening all over the world. To commemorate this long-standing love affair between Jack and music, The Hive was asked to create a series of pieces that would hang in clubs and concert halls around the world. Two extremely talented artists worked together for over a year on the project. One shooting powerful live music moments and the other bringing them to life with Jack’s classic label art and a special ink application that may or may not have had a little old No. 7 mixed in for luck. The work speaks for itself. Keep an eye out for it on your travels. And when you see it, no matter where in the world you are, you’ll know you’re with people who speak the same language.
